## The Architecture: The Chain-native Technology Stack

NetX's architecture is a comprehensive framework designed to facilitate the implementation and operation of the Small Data Network, realising its vision of the data-centric next-generation of the Internet. The architecture comprises four distinct layers, all designed in a decentralised and blockchain-aware method, which we call the chain-native technology stack. This section provides an overview of the architecture, reserving detailed technology descriptions for each component in separate white papers.
